Hop on board "The Polar Express" this Saturday morning...for free!

It's December, and we've already had a significant snowfall, so it's safe to say that the Christmas season is in full swing, which means classic TV specials, music, and iconic holiday movies.

During the hustle and bustle of the shopping season, if you are looking to do something that keeps the kids occupied for a few hours this weekend, we have an idea for you.

Coming up on Saturday morning at 10:15, the folks at Black Bear Cinemas in Orono, will host a free screening of the 2004 smash, "The Polar Express", starring Tom Hanks.

All you have to do is let them know you will attend, by clicking "Going" on their Facebook Event Page

There are plenty of other options for the kiddos too. "Trolls Band Together", and "Wish" are both playing. Plus, there is a double dose of Harry Potter, with screenings of "Harry Potter And The Half Bloods Prince" and "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Pt 1"

Set on Christmas Eve in the 1950s, "The Polar Express", tells the story of a young boy who sees a mysterious train bound for the North Pole stop outside his window and is invited aboard by its conductor. He joins other children as they embark on a journey to visit Santa Claus preparing for Christmas.

Enjoy a free holiday movie this Saturday morning at Black Bear Cinemas, 6 Stillwater Avenue, in Orono.

Merry Christmas!
