Something new is ready to spice up Downtown Bangor's nightlife, starting today!
After a few soft openings, the official debut of Salt North Taproom, 16 Union Street in Bangor, is finally is here.
Salt North Taproom, will be your go-to craft cocktail bar + kitchen, serving bold food, electric energy, and unforgettable nights.
Not to mention that the summer concert season is underway at Maine Savings Amphitheater, which means there will a new spot to have drinks & food before, or after any show.
Local flavor, loud vibes, and legendary pours. Get ready to "Catch The Vibe"
In fact, they have been hard at work, remodeling the space, and are ready to open their doors to the public!

Mark Greenleaf, was the owner of Carolina's Sports & Spirits, for over 20 years, but he stepped down in April, selling the business to a new owner.
The location at 16 Union Street, has been a nightlife destination for years. It was previously open as "The Waterfront" and "Legends" before Greenleaf took control.
Now that you know all that, here is how Opening Day breaks down:
3:45PM — Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Come be part of history as we officially cut the ribbon and open the doors to a whole new Bangor vibe.
4:00PM — Doors Open
Cocktails, small plates, good people, good energy — this is the first taste of what Salt North is all about.
7:00-9:30PM — LIVE Music by "Stream Reggae"
10PM–1AM — The Ambassatah (Special Surprise)
