Bangor PD Searches For Suspect After Broadway Bangor Savings Bank Robbed Tuesday
Bangor Police are asking the public for help locating a person of interest related to a bank robbery that took place this week.
The robbery allegedly took place at the Bangor Savings Bank located at 652 Broadway in Bangor.
Sergeant Jason McAmbley, Public Information Officer with the Bangor Police Department, says police responded to the bank just before 3:00 PM Tuesday afternoon.
They were able to get a description and photo of the person involved in the alleged robbery.

"The robbery suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’09” tall, dark hair, goatee, wearing a green hooded jacket and gray pants. The suspect left in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash."
McAmbley says if you recognize the man in the photo, BPD would like to speak with you. Please reach out to them.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bangor Police Department at 947-7384. You may leave an anonymous tip at extension 6."
