Bangor Claims Crown In ‘High School Quiz Show: Maine’ Final

Bangor High School on Thursday claimed the Season 2 crown of High School Quiz Show: Maine with a win over Falmouth.

Bangor's team -- Lily, David, Catherine and Sarah -- defeated Falmouth 495 to 315 on the show, which airs on Maine Public Television.

Bangor receives $1,000 plus a spot in the regional championship in Boston. Falmouth received $500. Bangor will play Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. against New Hampsire in the first ever High School Quiz Show Invitational on Maine Public TV.

The show is hosted by Shannon Moss, who stopped by the studio before the start of season two.
