There were 18,861 votes were cast in the last week, and we have a new champ!

We all have that one place we love to go, whereas the song says, "Everybody Knows Your Name" and also, we all have that one person we love at your go-to watering hole. So after a long absence, we decided to bring back this contest, to give props to all the hard-working, drink slingers in town.

During the past 7 days, the lead changed hands a few times, and as you can see below, the results were very close.

Nicole Brissette, who works at Season’s in Bangor, is the big winner, by a margin of 557 votes. She will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card, and 12 months of bragging rights.

Season's is a locally owned and operated restaurant/event center, which is located just two blocks away from the Cross Insurance Center and Waterfront Concert site, which is now home to the Maine Savings Amphitheater. Stop by and congratulate Nicole on her victory, and enjoy a cold beverage!

More than 30 local area bartenders received hundreds of votes, so thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. We respect and admire all of these hard-working folks in the service industry. Cheers to you all!
