New business alert!! Don't miss all the fun this Saturday afternoon

Summer means lazy hot days cooling off at the beach or the pool, cooking out on the grill, and lots and lots of ice cream.

There are plenty of options throughout the state when it comes to this refreshing treat, but not all of them are pet freindly. That is about to change.

Get ready Howland, a brand new dairy bar is set to have their grand opening celebration this Saturday, June 29th from noon-3pm, and our furry friends are more than welcome to tag along.

Chubby's Dairy Bar, which is located at 1 Coffin Street, in Howland, is having a big kickoff party coming up this weekend, that will feature live music, lawn games and plenty of surprises!

They are fully staffed and fully stocked to scratch any ice cream itch you may possibly have. Join them and bring your pooch with you to enjoy a Chubby Treat from their out take-out window.

Starting Saturday, Chubby's will be open to serve you daily from 12pm-9pm.

Check out their weekly rotating soft serve, Gifford’s Premium Hard Serve, milkshakes, sundaes and other ice cream specialties.

During the grand opening celebration, they anticipate a bit of heavy traffic around the rotary area, due to a basketball tournament, their opening and other various community events going on this Saturday, so they ask that you please drive slowly around the area. Be safe, and stay cool with a delicious ice cream.
