1992 - Sir Mix-A-Lot

The rapper hits #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week in 1992 with the classic club hit "Baby Got Back".

1995 - TLC

The superstar girl group wins Grammys and earn best selling status but file for bankruptcy this week in 1995.

2006 - Shakira

Our favorite 'The Voice' coach hits #2 this week in 2006 with "Hips Don't Lie".  This song features Timbaland.

2009 - Black Eyed Peas

This week in 2009, the Black Eyed Peas hit #1 on billboard hot 100 with the song 'Boom Boom Pow', spending 33 weeks on the hot 100.  A week later, the Peas will hit #1 with 'I Gotta Feeling', which sits on the charts for 56 weeks total.

2013 - Daft Punk

The French techno group hits it big at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Get Lucky' featuring music legend Nile Rodgers and our other favorite 'The Voice' coach, Pharrell Williams.  Williams is also featured on this week's #1 song, Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'.

2019 - Taylor Swift

T Swizzle debuts her song 'You Need to Calm Down' and the track hits #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
