December 13th - December 19th: See how The Weeknd, OutKastMiley Cyrus, Brian McKnight, and Alicia Keys marked this week in history for pop music from the past 30 years.

1999 - Brian McKnight

The R&B singer is #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Back At One'.  The song only peaks at #2 due to the undying reign at #1 by Santana & Rob Thomas with 'Smooth'.  I'm thinking this song was a piece of inspiration for Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg for a memorable Saturday Night Live skit.

2003 - OutKast

André 3000 and Big Boi are #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Hey Ya'.  The song was #2 the week prior but moves up the #1 spot this week in 2003.  OutKast is also in the #3 spot with 'The Way You Move' featuring Sleepy Brown.

2007 - Alicia Keys

#1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "No One".

2012 - Miley Cyrus

Little Miley performs Billy Idols "Rebel Yell" on the VH1 Divas special.

2019 - The Weeknd

Canadian singer The Weeknd is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Heartless'.  The song is about returning to his playa life after breaking up with his exes
