1999 - Brian McKnight
The R&B singer is #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Back At One'. The song only peaks at #2 due to the undying reign at #1 by Santana & Rob Thomas with 'Smooth'. I'm thinking this song was a piece of inspiration for Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg for a memorable Saturday Night Live skit.
2003 - OutKast
André 3000 and Big Boi are #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Hey Ya'. The song was #2 the week prior but moves up the #1 spot this week in 2003. OutKast is also in the #3 spot with 'The Way You Move' featuring Sleepy Brown.
2007 - Alicia Keys
#1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "No One".
2012 - Miley Cyrus
Little Miley performs Billy Idols "Rebel Yell" on the VH1 Divas special.
2019 - The Weeknd
Canadian singer The Weeknd is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Heartless'. The song is about returning to his playa life after breaking up with his exes
