2017 - Ed Sheeran

The great ginga-ninja is at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 with "Shape of You".  The song will spend 12 weeks at the number one spot and spend a total of 59 weeks on the chart.

2010 - B.O.B & Bruno Mars

The duo collaborated on "Nothin' On You" which is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.  Aww, the days when Bruno wore the fedora...

2007 - Rihanna

"Umbrella" enters the charts at #91 on Billboard's Hot 100 but will hit #1 in seven weeks.

2002 - T.L.C.

A sad day for pop music when the world lost Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes to a car accident in Honduras at age 30.

1996 - Celine Dion

The Canadian singer hits #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Because You Loved Me" from the soundtrack of the movie Up Close & Personal.  Two years later, she would make bank doing another tune for a little old movie called Titanic....  maybe you've heard of it?

1993 - RuPaul

The cross dressing legend, RuPaul, performs "Supermodel (You Better Work)" at the LGBT March on Washington.

1989 - Madonna

"Like A Prayer" is #1 on U.S. Charts, her seventh number one single in the U.S.
