Who ya got at number one?

Hard to believe, but Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer is almost upon us. Now fall doesn’t arrive until September 22nd, but for the most part we are headed towards leaves, chilly nights, all things pumpkin and football. With this in mind we give you the Top 10 songs of the weirdest summer, of the strangest year ever.

This list is built on airplay on Z-107.3, pop culture buzz, and top down, wind in your hair crankibility (in my case, a sunroof)

10. Saint Jhn- Roses

"Roses" is a song by American rapper Saint Jhn. It was then remixed by producer Imanbek and released as a single on September 18, 2019. The remix of the song is higher pitched and helped the song gain international recognition after it was featured on a Snapchat filter and on video-sharing app TikTok where it received over 4.5 billion plays in the month of April 2020 alone

9. DaBaby-Rockstar

"Rockstar" is rapper DaBaby, features guest vocals from Roddy Ricch. The song spent seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.

8. Benee-Supalonley

“Supalonely” is a song by New Zealand singer Benee featuring American singer Gus Dapperton. The song was hugely popular on TikTok in March 2020, gaining more than 6.9 billion plays for the month. The success has also been credited to those who resonated with the song's themes at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

"Falling" was originally relesed in 2018, then in 2019,it started gaining popularity on short-form mobile videos platform and subsequently was added on various Spotify playlists and Viral Charts.

The song that took off due to a TikTok dance challenge has quickly stomred up the charts, and if there was another two months of summer left, this would easy be a consideration for the #1 slot

5. The Weeknd-Blidning Lights

This is truly an incredible story."Blinding Lights" was the second single of his fourth studio album "After Hours" It was released on NOVEMBER 29, 2019! this song has been dominating the charts for almost 10 months.It also recently won MTV's Video of The Year.

4.Dua Lipa-Break My Heart

This old school 90's sounding dance track with a bit of a disco beat cemented Dua Lipa as one of the hottest feamle artists around, with a very bright future.

3.Megan Thee Stallion-Savage

Yet another tune that went viral on TikTok, with people performing the "Savage" dance challenge during the song's chorus. Add a little Beyonce to the remix, and you have a number one smash.

2.Doja Cat-Say So

The way to get a hit song these days is to have it blow up on TikTok. A video from user Haley Sharpe went viral on the platform, and a smash was born. It got even bigger when Nicki Minaj was added to the track. Boom...number one on the charts.
