It’s back! We are looking forward to seeing all our friends and listeners again for a "Ton of Pasta"!

Winter is here, but so far (with a few exceptions) we have been pretty lucky with very mild temps, and very little snow, but of course that will eventually change. Before long, the harsh conditions will arrive here in our area, and people will need help from our community. With that in mind, mark your calendars for our annual “Ton of Pasta” drive.

Z-107.3 and our sister stations here at Townsquare Media will be out in force at Hannaford locations in Brewer, Union Street Bangor, Old Town, and Ellsworth, on Saturday, March 12, from 9 am-noon.

The year 2021 was another challenging year, to say the least, but Z listeners and so many others came out in force back in November, for our annual "Free The Z" turkey drive. We collected 3,076 turkeys, so the pandemic isn't stopping folks from helping out those in need!

Just one box of pasta can feed a family of four and really make a huge difference after the holidays and best of all, you can usually grab a box of spaghetti for just about a buck. Last year all our stations combined, collected over 4 tons!

Grab whatever is in your cupboard at home, or stop by any of the Hannaford locations, where you can get all sorts of different types of pasta and sauce there. Give whatever you can afford because your donation will really help people here in Eastern Maine. And of course, be sure to mask up and be safe!

Last year, we endured harsh conditions, but had such a great time meeting everyone! Hope to see you at our annual “Ton of Pasta” drive on Saturday, March 12th 20th, from 9 am to noon, in Bangor, Brewer, Old Town and Ellsworth!

Thank you from all of us at Z-107.3!
