Would You Like To See A Trader Joe’s In Bangor?

Our listeners will often ask why they have to travel all the way to Portland to go to Trader Joe's.

Here's what to do: You can request that the company open a store in your town. Like we said, Portland is the nearest store, but who's to say Bangor couldn't be next? Maybe it could go somewhere near the Bangor Mall.

For those of you who aren't familiar, Trader Joe's is a grocery store with its own line of products and where the crew wears Hawaiian shirts.

Of course, we can't expect Trader Joe's to start construction because a few people requested a new store in Bangor. But the site does offer a glimmer of hope: "There are no guarantees, but being wanted matters to us."

We have heard rumors of them coming to different vacant buildings in Bangor, but they are only big dreams as of now.
