New Artists Film Festival In Maine To Showcase Young Filmmakers
Do you know any student filmmakers?
The first New Artists Film Festival is taking submissions. Anyone 21 years old and younger may submit a link to his or her short film at the festival's Facebook or via email.
The festival will feature select entries at a showing scheduled for Oct. 25 at the Alamo Theatre in Bucksport, Maine. At the event, prizes of $250 each will be awarded for best film, best direction and best script.
There is no fee to enter and you don't have to be present at the festival to win an award, according to the festival's Facebook.
You know we here at the Z like to feature the works of student filmmakers. Below are some of our favorite short films from students in recent years.
Good luck, everybody! We know there's a young Scorsese or two out there.
