It's hard not to notice all the memes and posts about potholes on social media lately, and it's even harder to avoid actual potholes when you are driving around. One woman tried to avoid them and got a present for her efforts.

Alana Corns who lives in Canton, Ohio, recently got a ticket from a police officer when she moved into an occupied lane of traffic when she was swerving to avoid a pothole. Alana accepts responsibility for the fine, but posted about her incident to raise awareness of the condition of the city roads in Canton.
