Maine's love for the unusual
Maine is no stranger to 'odd and unusual. Maine is home to the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, which calls itself the only cryptozoology museum in the world. It's a museum dedicated to 'hidden or unknown animals' like bigfoot and mermaids. Maine is also a spiritually diverse state that is home to one of the nation's oldest spiritual camps in Etna, where they run summertime programming to get connected with your spiritual self. Camp Etna becomes a commune where you can take classes and take part in programs with mediums and healers.
