After the Black Bears big win, it was time to party!

The State of Maine took over not only TD Garden but the entire North End of Boston on Friday night.

After the University of Maine men's hockey team captured the program's sixth Hockey East Tournament title, and their first since 2004, with a 5-2 win over UConn, a major celebration was in order.

Thanks to some amazing video from our friend, Danny Cashman, you can see the UMaine band perform an impromptu song, led by conductor Christopher White, who leads the band while standing on the bar, Coyote Ugly style.

And no victory lap would be complete without shirtless dudes with M-A-I-N-E painted on their chests.

The after-party was held at one of Boston's coolest nightspots, The Greatest Bar, which is just steps from Causeway Street, which is the home of TD Garden.

The fun continued the next day, when the team returned home, with a warm welcome from Black Bear fans
