"From Away" is from the mind of creator and host Teagan Wright, who made a living in the trade work here in the state as a stern man and carpenter over the years. He then pursued his interest and passion for TV and Film production working in Los Angeles and New York City, both behind and in front of the camera. Teagan has hosted national shows for NBC as well as Sports Illustrated.

The series is a reality based documentary that features Wright covering jobs, hobbies and lifestyles that are essential to the state of Maine.
