This really is a "School of Rock"

The Maine Academy of Modern Music is a nonprofit music school based in Portland. This "School of Rock", offers programming across the state including after school lessons, youth rock bands, summer camps, children's concerts, and brass, chorus, and strings programs. The Maine Academy of Modern Music also has an extensive community outreach and scholarship program which serves over 1,200 Maine students annually.

To celebrate the 2018 Playing For Change Day, The Maine Academy of Modern Music teamed up with a number of local filmmakers to create this video in which Maine Academy of Modern Music students and faculty members perform The Who's classic tune "Join Together"

As someone who played in bands as early as junior high school, this video is a perfect example of why you are never too young to pick up and learn to play!
