This Maine tradition has been around for 20 years!

Couples dashed through muddy obstacles and log hurdles for beer and cash at Sunday River Ski Resort on Saturday, as the town hosted the 20th annual North American Wife Carrying Championships.

Men with their wives hanging upside down behind them, while running down the hills, traveling across the "Widow Maker," and attempting to scale the log hurdles.

Olivia Dowling and Jerome Roehm, a couple from Delaware, were the big winners, besting 44 other couples by finishing in under a minute.
