Get down and boogie, and help a great cause at the same time, for the kids!

Umaine’s Black BearTHON raises money for Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, which is our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, benefiting pediatric healthcare across Maine, through a student led fundraising dance and celebration.

April 24th from 12:00 PM, till April 25th at midnight, at The New Balance Student Recreation Center in Orono, the Annual Black BearTHON is on!

This EMMC Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon raises money and awareness for EMMC through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, so that doctors and nurses have the resources they need to care for every child. They treat children from right here in our area and provide lifesaving care to sick and injured kids in need. The Black Bear Nation wants to place a smile on each child's face in one night of fun, if you can stay on your feet that long!

Obviously, the Black BearTHON may look a little bit different this year. If it's virtual, or in person, it will still be UMaine students coming together to help kids receiving care at our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

All dancers who register will receive a short-sleeve T-shirt and a lap top sticker. Show you're "FTK" by registering today.. All CDC guidelines to safely host an indoor gathering will be striclty followed.
