Look for travel ideas? Explore the best of the 207!

We may not be all having the summer that we wanted, but things are slowly returning to normal, and former TV anchor Erin Ovalle, travels all around the Pine Tree State, to bring you the program "Maine Life" which celebrates all the cool things that are happening here in Maine

Think of it this way, when we are all free to resume our normal lives, you will have plenty of ideas for places to explore. From shopping, to delicious food, outdoor fun, and popular tourist attractions. "Maine Life" explores all the things that truly make our state, "The Way Life Should Be"

In the latest episode, Maine Life recently hit the Manchester area. Stops included the beautiful Longfellow’s Greenhouse, the followed up with a visit to Kennebec Cabin Company, which is the home of the DIY Network show, “Maine Cabin Masters”

Augusta was next up with a stop at a new restaurant which I absolutely must try. State Lunch just opened before the pandemic hit on Augusta’s historic downtown area, on Water Street, near the Kennebec River. It looks amazing, with a menu of comfort food like chicken & waffles, which they serve all day long, mac & cheese platters, and some cool specialty cocktails that are all named after Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. “The Golden Ticket”, and “Veruca’s Salt” are just two of the libations on the menu.

The episode then wraps up with a look back at the 2019 Windsor Fair, in the hopes that all those fun outdoor events can return next summer.
And if you are nervous about leaving the state during the pandemic, this will give you lots of ideas to have a nice "stay-cation" right here at home.
They also recently traveled to Bangor and Surry, and paid a visit with to see our pal Burt, from Sea Dog Brewing Company. Plus stops at Wave Walker Charters and one of the absolute best ice cream places in the entire state, the one and only,Pugnuts.
