Tour The Darker Side Of Mount Hope Cemetery

Visit the graves of Bangorians who left the world before their time, or under mysterious circumstances.

Sunday, October 21st at 7pm, and Tuesday, October 30th at 7pm, you can take a walking tour of the darker side of Mount Hope Cemetery. I took a walk through last Saturday, and I was fascinated looking at all the grave sites that date back to the late 1800's. This tour will give you insight to the stories of Bangor residents who as the headline says "left the world before their time, or under mysterious circumstances.

The event is hosted by the Bangor Historical Society, with presenting sponsor Bangor Savings Bank. The price is just $10, but advance ticket purchases are recommended, and can be bought online at www.bangorhistoricalsociety.org
