As the weather starts to warm, and you get inspired to begin the process of Spring Cleaning, you may want to keep the Habitat For Humanity of Greater Bangor ReStore in mind.
Folks at the store are getting things ready for a big Indoor Yard Sale that's scheduled to take place on April 8th and 9th.
Melissa Huston, Executive Director Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor, says the event will provide the store with the chance to clear out some of their inventory, making room for more donations.
"We will be requesting the Darling's Ice Cream Truck and have invited a couple of other neighboring businesses to offer their own specials that day. "
According to the ReStore website, not only can you go to the store to get gently used home furnishings, but you can also send your gently used ones to them to resell.
"By shopping, donating, and volunteering at your neighborhood Habitat ReStore, you are part of a worldwide movement dedicated to ensuring everyone has a decent place to live. Helping your community has never been so easy! Call to schedule a donation pick-up or to find out what we accept."
Donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Bangor Area's ReStore Yard Sale will take place right at their storefront at 378 Harlow St. and will go on from 9 AM to 4 PM on both days.

$1.75 Million Island Paradise Is Ellsworth's Most Expensive Home For Sale
Would you jump into the pool or the lake? Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Wow, this place is really nice. A 6000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 5 bath island paradise with a big, beautiful pool as well. Sign us up!
Isle Wood is located at 452 Philips Way in Ellsworth with 1000+ feet of shoreline on Branch Lake, the City of Ellsworth's water source. The water is crystal clear in both the lake and the pool for that matter.
The French-style home that was built in 1996 is located on an island with its own bridge to the mainland, so if you dig privacy, then this is your place! It's also been renovated extensively and set up for year-round living.
We found it listed by LandVest, and Jamie O'Keefe is the broker @ 207-276-3840. The asking price was for $1.75 million but was reduced to $1,645,000 in September. It included over 5 acres of land, which would have given you plenty of room to have the time of your life.
After multiple offers, this property was sold to a New York City couple in November.
