Kick off the holiday season with the beautiful CP Holiday Train!

Hard to think about the Christmas season, when Halloween hasn't even arrived yet, but after a hugely successful visit to Maine last year, an iconic event is happening once again, on Friday, November 22nd.

The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. November 22nd through December 20th, raising money, food and awareness, to support food banks across their network.

You can enjoy free live music from the brightly decorated train's stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.

Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million and collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.

The CP Holiday Train has two trains, one that travels exclusively in Canada and another with stops in both Canada and the U.S. And next month, it will make 2 visits to Maine, in Brownville and Jackman.

Here is how the Maine schedule breaks down:

  • Friday, November 22nd, from 5pm-5:30pm, the train stops in Brownville, at 1586 Main Road, featuring performances from the James Barker Band and Clerel
  • Friday, November 22nd, from 9:30pm-10pm, it will visit Jackman, at 4 Walton Street, featuring performances from the James Barker Band and Clerel

In 2022, the CP Holiday Train made its maiden voyage to the state of Maine, with a bunch of colorfully lit boxcars, holiday cheer, and a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, performing a live concert for the crowds.

The events are free to the public, so grab the entire family, check out the train, and enjoy some live music!
