Ted Nugent Drummer Makes First Court Appearance in Bangor
Last month, Mick Brown the drummer for Ted Nugent, was arrested in Bangor on the waterfront. Brown had been playing a show July 8th with Nugent, REO Speedwagon and Styx. After the show “Wild Mick” reportedly was drunk and stole a golf cart that belonged to Waterfront Concerts. Drove it outside the concert grounds, running over a traffic cone and shoving a security officer. Bangor Police took Brown into custody and was later realised on $4,000 bail.
Brown now has to answer to those charges at Penobscot Judaical Center. Last week his lawyer entered a plea of not guilty. Brown was not present.
Brown is facing four misdemeanors.
- Operating under the influence
- Driving to endanger
- Theft
- Assault
Three of the charges carry punishments of up to a year in prison and fines of $2,000. Driving to endanger can carry a sentence up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000.
A court date has yet to be set.
