Stephen King’s ‘The Outsider’ Series Premieres This Weekend

Another Stephen King adaptation is premiering this weekend. In this one, "fear has many faces."

The Outsider is set to premiere on HBO this weekend. The series, starring Jason Bateman, is the latest TV adaptation from the pages of the 2018 Stephen King novel by the same name.

HBO says the show begins "following a seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of a young boy. But when an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case, it leads a seasoned cop and an unorthodox investigator to question everything they believe in."

The Outsider premieres Sunday, Jan. 12, on HBO.
