Stephen King’s ‘In The Tall Grass’ Premieres On Netflix This Week

Netflix has released the trailer for its next Stephen King novella-turned-movie.

Netflix is set to release another Stephen King-inspired original film. Based on the novella by King and his son, Joe Hill, In The Tall Grass will premiere on Netflix October 4.

Netflix describes its next original as:

When siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them. Cut off from the world and unable to escape the field’s tightening grip, they soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found.

This is Netflix's third King adaptation. In 2017, Netflix debut 1922, based on King's novella about a farmer who pens the story of how he murdered his wife. Also in 2017, Gerald's Game premiered on the streaming service.
