Sherman Man Arrested After Alleged Assault

A man was arrested and taken to the Aroostook County Jail after an alleged assault in Sherman.

The incident was reported at 11:30 p.m., state police said in a news release. Troopers investigated overnight and made an arrest at about 11:30 a.m. the following day.

Chad Pocock, 36, of Sherman was charged with aggravated assault and terrorizing.

Police said the name of the victim will not be released.

The release said the investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
