Sensory Play Place In Brewer Moving To New Space In Bangor Mall
A sensory play place that opened up in downtown Brewer last summer, is moving into some bigger digs this spring.
Messology Maine, opened for business in June of 2021, at 391 North Maine Street in Brewer.
They will be closed this week, however, as the owner, Erika Martin-Booker and her husband pack up all their supplies and move their supplies to their new location in the Bangor Mall.
"My husband is working hard on our new mess lab and I just ordered our new bigger sandbox that we will use until my husband can build our permanent one!

They announced their big news on the Messology Maine Facebook page last week:
Their new location will be inside the Bangor Mall, where the old Arie store used to be.
"Our new space is bigger and much better laid out. We want to get our retail license and have Messology merch available along with personalized take-home (or keep at Messology) sensory kits and much more."
"We will have a temporary chalk and magnet area for a few weeks then he will be building one like we have now! We will be able to have more areas available more often for example we will have a water area available most of the time and we will have a baby/young toddler space with fun padded blocks to play on and things!
"We will have a special party area and we are working on theme party packages! We are booking so fast for weekend birthday parties and we are booking school field trips too! We also are pondering what we will call the 'mobile mess lab!' That we can come to the customer, parks/playgrounds, businesses, campgrounds and more! Lots of new fun things coming to Messology Maine!"
"We do have an outside entrance door for kids who are more sensitive to the flashing lights or sounds of the games at G-Force so we can offer a safe and calm entrance and exit to them, all you'll need to do is just call us when you get there and we can let you in."
"We hope to be open Monday to Friday 10 am to 5 pm and at least one Saturday morning a month for open to the public splatter paint."
They hope to be in their new setup at the Bangor Mall by next Monday, March 28.
