Zachery Fowler is one of three contestants remaining on this season of Alone on the History Channel. The self-taught survivalist has been surviving in the Patagonia wilderness. The season finale is Thursday night, which is when Fowler will learn if he outlasted his opponents. The winner will score a cash prize of $500,000

Based on last weeks episode he's survived 74 days, which is eight days more than last season's winner David McIntire. Fowler said over the course of the season he lost 50 pounds!

Fowler is a boat builder from Appleton, where he lives off the grid in a Yurt with his wife and two kids.

The season three finale of Alone premiers Thursday night at 9 on the History Channel.
