This Maine summertime tradition since 1965, returns in 2022

After being cancelled due to Covid-19 the past two years, this 3-day party is back!

A Maine summertime tradition since 1965, returns in 2022! The 55th Yarmouth Clam Festival is the perfect road trip for a weekend of fun. It all takes place July 15th-July 17th

Always held on the third Friday in July, the festival benefits over 30 local area non-profits.

Each year, they serve up more than 6,000 pounds of clams, 6,000 lobster rolls, 2,500 pancake breakfasts, 2,000 shore dinners, 400 homemade pies, and 6,000 strawberry shortcakes. All are washed down with over 13,500 Lime Rickeys.

Food: Just about everything you can imagine will be served at these hours:
Friday: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
Sunday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Carnival: The carnival on the mid-way features Smokey’s Greater Shows. Thrilling rides, games for prizes, classic carnival food Sunday of the Festival.

The mid-way is open at the following times:

11:00 – 5:00 pm

Music: The Yarmouth Clam Festival will feature from local and regional artists. Over 40 musical acts and entertainers are set to perform on two main stages.

Clam Festival Parade: It all takes place Friday, July 15th at 6pm, on Main Street. The theme of the 2022 parade is “ Maine! The Way Life Should Be”

Clam Festival Kids’ Fun Run: Saturday, July 16th , at 7:15am, at Main Street at Memorial Green

39th Annual Pat’s Pizza Clam Festival Classic: 39th Annual Pat’s Pizza Clam Festival Classic: Saturday, July 16th at 8am, on Main Street at Memorial Green. There will be T-Shirts for the first 500 registered runners

Maine State Clam Shucking Contest: Saturday, July 16th, at 11am, Memorial Green Tent. Come watch and compete. Prizes go to the fastest shuckers in professional and amateur heats.

Firefighters Muster Competition: Saturday, July 16th, at 1pm, Main Street at Memorial Green

K9 Demonstration: Saturday, July 16h, at 5pm. Local officers will showcase the talent of their canine partners.

Annual Clam Festival Men’s & Women’s Professional Bike Race: Sunday, July 17th, at 9am, Main Street at Memorial Green

Diaper Derby: Sunday, July 17th, at 12pm, Memorial Green Tent, This is a fun race for crawlers and toddlers!

Main St. Rumble: Sunday, July 17th, from 1pm-4pm, Main Street This is an invite only car show that the public can enjoy.
