On one glorious Saturday in October, there is going to be an epic party, that you don't want to miss!

If you are looking to get in the car, and head off on an adventure, look no further, because we have found the perfect event, worthy of a memory making road trip.

Dust off your lederhosen and come celebrate with the whole family. Toss a keg, throw some brats, and take in the beauty of Rangeley's leaf-peeping-worthy views.

Saddleback Mountain will be holding their 3rd Annual Oktoberfest celebration coming up on Saturday, October 7th, from 11am-4pm. A full day of events are scheduled, so prepare to have a great time.

Schedule of Events:

10-11am- Oktoberfest 5K
11am-Festival gates open. Live music with TJ Swan on the deck.
12pm- Pie eating contest on the deck. $10 entry. The winner gets a pie and a gift card to The Pub.
1:30pm-3:30pm-Live music with "Skosh" on the deck.
3:30pm-Stein Hoisting Championship! 10 men’s/women’s qualifiers will go head-to-head. This is always an Oktoberfest favorite - don’t miss it! Raise your stein and keep it raised!

Plus, you can enjoy scenic chairlift rides for $10, craft vendros, fall foliage and mountain views, lots of traditional German style beers, ciders and craft seltzers, and of course, delicious food!

Saddleback Mountain is located in Sandy River Plantation, Franklin County, Maine, near the resort town of Rangeley, but there is more to do and see besides skiing, especially with fall foliage about to begin.
