ROAD TRIP WORTHY: LeAnn Rimes Coming To Waterville
Hey! Back In The Day Café fans, after the great Blues Traveler concert last month, another great show is coming our way this month.
On Saturday, September 18th, from 8pm-10:30, the iconic pop & country star, LeAnn Rimes will be performing at the Waterville Opera House.
Yes, she originally rose to stardom at the age of 13, as a country singer, but she crossed over and had some huge pop hits along the way too. Her hit “How Do I Live” was a huge hit, making it all the way to number two on the Top 40 charts, for five non-consecutive weeks in late 1997 and early 1998,
Another huge crossover moment came when she appeared in the cult classic movie “Coyote Ugly”, which gave the world a big smash with “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” which is a Back In The Day Café staple.
LeAnn Rimes has won a ton of hardware, including 2 Grammy Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; 2 World Music Awards, and the impressive "Best New Artist” making her the youngest recipient to bring home a Grammy Award.
