ROAD TRIP-Melissa Etheridge Will Play A Free Concert At L.L. Bean

Looking for a reason to get outta town? In August, the one and only Melissa Etheridge is coming to the 207!

Over the last several years, the flagship location of L.L. Bean in Freeport, has been hosting a "Summer in the Park” live concert series, which just happens to be free to the public.

They have snagged some pretty big names over the years, including artists like Gavin DeGraw, The Fray and others. This August 5th, Melissa Etheridge will rock the stage in Freeport.

Etheridge is a multiple Grammy Award winner and even a won a Oscar in the “Best Song” category at the 2007 Academy Awards.

As if that wasn't impressive enough, she just happens to be an electric live performer. I have personally seen her in concert 3 times, inlcuding twice here in the Bangor area. I can tell you that she puts on an intense show that you don't want to miss!

Check out the concert out for FREE, August 5th, from 7:30pm-10:00pm.

You can grab a spot on the grass to enjoy the show. Guests are welcome to put out chairs starting at 6 a.m. They have a no blankets on the lawn policy.
