Time is running out to enjoy Maine’s most magical event.

Holiday Road Trip Idea!

From now through December 24th, LL Bean in Freeport is doing something very cool. They are converting the store and surrounding area into the perfect Christmas, which is all headlined by their Northern Lights Holiday display.

One of the great things about this time of year is that there are so many things to do, so take advantage! Put the family in the car and take a trip to shop, and take in the amazing sights and sounds.

Check out this list of all the events happening this holiday season!

Free Daily Activities:

L.L.Bean Winter Spectacular
4-8 p.m. Shows every 30 minutes
Camp L.L.Bean Tent

Their dazzling new projection show is a visual spectacle for all ages, taking you on a light-filled journey that will make you believe in magic!

Fire Pits and Heated Seats
1-7 p.m. | Discovery Park

Take a break from all the fun and warm up around a fire pit.

Letters to Santa
Santa’s Cabin | Discovery Park Stage

Santa loves getting letters from Northern Lights! Kids can place their holiday wishes in the big red mailbox and they will make sure they get to the North Pole.

Festive Photo Ops

Northern Lights is made for memories! Grab photo ops in front of gorgeous lights, trees, murals, and more! Then share them and see other pics with hashtag #BeanOutsider.

Free Weekly Activities:

All activities take place in Santa’s Cabin, located on the Discovery Park stage.

Holiday Screen Printing
Tuesdays, 4-7 p.m.

Craft your own keepsake tea towel.

Kids’ Fireside Stories
Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m.

Snack on s’mores and learn about a different cultural celebration each week.
