Before he topped the Box Office, he paid a visit to Bangor!

Something pretty remarkable happened over the weekend, a small independent movie called "Terrifier 3", pulled the upset of the year, when it knocked the over hyped "Joker: Folie a'Deux", out of the number spot pulling in an impressive $18.3 million bucks over the weekend.

Exactly one year ago today, David Howard Thornton, the actor who brings life to the evil "Art The Clown", paid a visit to the Bangor Comic & Toy Con, at the Cross Insurance Center.

The annual event has brought some really fun and iconic people to town over the last several years, including the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who were here just a few weeks back.

In a video from last years event in Bangor, Art The Clown, can be seen walking the floor at Cross Insurance Center, having fun with the people in the crowd, and attempting to scare the crap out of a few of them.

Art the Clown, is a fictional character, that has become a modern horror icon, in the "Terrifier" franchise. He's a silent, sadistic, and gruesome killer who wears a grotesque clown costume.
