The Maine Science Festival and Project Login have teamed up to bring tech night to Downtown Bangor next Friday, March 15th.

This drop-off event is free and is being offered to area middle schoolers at the Maine Discovery Museum from 4:30 PM - 7 PM.  There will even be pizza for the attendees.

Attendees: be sure to sign-up at the Facebook event page and bring your laptop.  Don't have one- they'll let you borrow one.

Kids will learn about the world of computers and information technology while sharing, collaborating, and exploring cutting-edge software and web-based tools.

There are quite a few workshops and hands-on activities for participants to be a part of including using code to create a dance program, basic programming, Rapberry Pi Tech Jam, and even a workshop about sharing personal data on social media. the program is designed for maximum engagement! Participants: please bring a laptop devices, or email us at hello@mainesciencefestival.org if you will need to borrow one (we'll have a limited supply for borrowing).
