'Tis the season.

Happy Thanksgiving and good luck on Black Friday. Also, remember to shop local on Saturday. Something three days in a row.

The Christmas season is about to get revved up. And here’s a chance for the family to get revved up and into the spirit of the season a week from Saturday.

On Saturday, Dec. 4 beginning at 7:30 AM and going until 9:30 AM, the Eliot Fire Department will present its Drive-Thru Breakfast with Santa event.

This will take place at Eliot Fire station. Enter at the Eliot Town Hall and follow the signs.

Santa and his firefighter elves will be curbside handing out egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast next Saturday morning. Donations are gladly accepted and will be given to a local charity to be determined.

So gather up the family and get into the festive mood with the drive-thru event.

Sitting on Santa’s knee is so yesterday. Like it's 2010 or something. This is the way to do it now. Stay in the car and drive on thru.

Ho ho ho.
