UPDATE: All charges against Mark Roussel have been dismissed by the District Attorney's office.

A Princeton man was charged with setting fire to a home in Hampden earlier this week.

Mark Roussel, 35, faces an arson charge. Roussel was to appear before a judge on Friday. Investigators say the two-story home at 394 Main Street in Hampden was destroyed by fire Monday night.

The home is owned by a friend of Roussel and he frequently stayed there. Roussel was arrested at his home in Princeton Wednesday without incident and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
