Amy Allen from South Portland, has been busy making Halsey, Selena Gomez and Harry Styles famous - it's her turn!

Amy helped co-write Halsey's 'Without Me' which shot to the top of the charts. She's also helped others shoot to the top of the charts, but now SHE has her own single. The Portland Press Herald reports that Amy signed with Warner Records and her new song 'Queen of Silver Linings' is out nationwide. It's the first single off her debut album, that will be released later.

Amy has had an incredible career already, but her greatest success has been behind the scenes. She co-wrote the hit 'Back to You' by Selena Gomez, and was a writer on the Shawn Mendes song 'When You’re Ready.'

She was an artist first, before lending her writing chops to other artists. Now it's her turn. She says the years she spent writing for others and in her own band, helped create the voice she has on her upcoming album. The song 'Queen of Silver Linings' is a peak into her own life over the past year, including balancing her music and personal life.

The good news is that Maine will get to hear Amy soon! She's part of a virtual Maine-based Fourth of July concert event called SummerFestME, July 3 and 4.

She's an incredible talent, a wonderful person and a Mainer we will all say one day, 'I knew her when...'
