Maine TikTok Chef Adam Libby Tries Fiddleheads For The 1st Time
His reaction is priceless!
I swear every third Facebook post I see lately is about Fiddleheads. If a sweet asparagus tasting, grassy, snappy like a green bean, with a touch of broccoli stem is your cup of tea, then you are in luck. Personally, the whole idea of them totally grosses me out, but I appear to be in the minority on this one. That being said, I actually may not be alone in all of this.
In his latest videos, he picks, then cooks up some of this supposed delicacy, and it turns out that he didn't much care for fiddleheads. However, some people commenting on his videos, did give him some helpful tips:

Deep fry those babies and dip them in ranch! It’ll hide the taste of you don’t like them!😂
instead of HOLY CROW MAN, Adams just like, IT TASTES LIKE CROW MAN!!! 😂❤️
Idaho Prep Co
😂😂😂.... I'm with ya Chef! Maybe some bacon will help
some garlic and oil goes nice with them
Par boil fiddles.. cube bacon and shallots render bacon add onions and fiddles.. thank me later
maybe skip the vinegar next time . just do salt butter pepper. I bet you will like them better
Bran the Broken
Definitely an acquired taste. I’m not a huge fan of em myself lol
I love fiddle heads with butter salt and pepper and I also live in maine
hey chef try with balsamic vinegar, makes the flavor pop 😁
Love fiddleheads! I cook them with ham and potatoes in a boiled dinner
Looks AMAZING. The whole stem is edible, though, not just the tops! (Just pick before it unfurls)
