Maine State Troopers Fundraising With Autism Patch For Donations
April is Autism Awareness Month and it looks like you can help fundraise here in the State of Maine and get yourself a home state momento in the process.
The Maine State Troopers Foundation went to Facebook on Monday to share a fundraiser they are a part of to help fundraise money for Autism Awareness Month next month.
Partnering with the Autism Society of Maine and the Flutie Foundation, Maine State Troopers are selling special patches made especially for Autism Awareness Month.
2022's Autism Awareness Patch from the Maine State Trooper Foundation
The patches feature the Maine state seal with the sailer, farmer, pine tree, and north star along with Maine's Dirigo motto. Maine is featured in the design along with 'State Police' stitched in a simple banner above the seal. The additional element of the symbolic and colorful autistic puzzle pieces showcases the cause of the patches quite clearly, representing a patch representative of Maine State Police and autism awareness.
The Maine State Troopers Foundation is a not-for-profit entity that is dedicated to helping support programs of 'public safety and prevention of crime'.
