The Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad is looking for a very special person to volunteer one day a week on their trains.

It looks like the Maine railroad is looking for a story teller to read books to children during their train rides.  Now, you need to be a riveting reader that can endure two hours of storytelling but, maybe also, a master of patience due to your young and antsy audience.

The position is from July to December.

Here's a list of qualifications that could be very useful for a position like this:

  • Can make every character in the book have different voices, perhaps even someone good with accents
  • Has the ability to connect with kids in a way that makes their games and shows on the tablet seem boring
  • Have a passion for literature that makes you want to inspire the next generation.
