Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant To Open Wilson Street In Brewer Location

The work crews are ripping apart the old Pizza Hut restaurant on Wilson Street in Brewer, and a familiar restaurant appears to be moving in.

Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant on Bangor Mall Boulevard looks to be expanding across the river, by remodeling the former Pizza Hut location at 557 Wilson Street in Brewer. Signs have been put up this week stating the restaurant is "coming soon."

The restaurant has a Tex-Mex menu that features burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and more.

Pizza Hut in Brewer closed in 2015.
