A haunted house for Christmas? Spooky.

Maineiac Manor in the Bangor Mall had such a good time scaring up fun for Halloween, that they are back for the holidays.

"Krampus", the horned figure described as "half-goat, half-demon," who during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved all year will be featured in this Christmas themed haunted house. Although it is not recommended for children under 13, everyone over that age can get their thrills and chills.

Krampus has been featured in a funny episode of "American Dad", in various video games, and the Krampus movie, a 2015 Christmas comedy horror film.

"Krampus Invades Maineac Manor" will take place at the following dates and times:

Friday, December 11th 6-9pm
Saturday, December 12th 4-8pm
Sunday, December 13th 2-5pm
Friday, December 18th 6-9pm
Saturday, December 19th 4-8pm
Sunday, December 20th 2-5pm

Admission is $15 per person. There will be no refunds, returns, or exchanges.

And as you would expect, there is a COVID-19 guideline that must be adhered to, that includes:

Crew members and guests being screened for illness, including temperature checks, and whether you are free from cough, chills, if you have a sore throat, body aches, etc.

Guests are asked per the state mandate, to wear a mask or face shield throughout the entirety of the Haunt, and maintain six feet of social distancing at all times.  They ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided to you before entering. Your name and address will be recorded in the event that contact tracing is necessary, To keep everyone safe, Maineiac Manor will entertain groups of four or less. Larger groups will be split up.
