You bring the eggnog, I'll bring the tunes!

As normally Grinchy type of person, this year I have really come to appreciate the holiday season. 2020 was been such a depressing, challenging time for evyerone, so I decided to get my self into the spirit of things, and that includes movies, TV specials, and of course, music!

So, when you are having a socially distanced, and hopefully safe holiday get together, I have come up with the ultimate playlist of holiday jingle jams, that will make any Christmas party an instant hit. So here without further ado, here are my favorites! Have a great holiday from all of us here at Z-107.3

"Another Lonely Christmas" Prince

This one has that classic "Purple Rain" era vibe to it. It was the B-side to "I Would Die 4 U"

"All I Want For Christmas Is You" Mariah Carey

Arguably now the most popular modern era Christmas song, this one still sounds great all these years later!

"Last Christmas" Wham

This one has been covvered many times, most notably by Taylor Swift, but it's hard to top the original.

"Christmas In Hollis" Run DMC

Not only a great Christmas jam, but the video is killer too

"Little Drummer Boy" Bing Crosby & David Bowie

Back in 1977, it was a very edgy thing to have these two polar opposites do a duet on televison. Unfortunaetly, Crosby passed away before this Christmas special could air.

"Please Come Home For Christmas" Bon Jovi

The version by The Eagles is the better and most famous version, but hey why not throw fans of big 80's hair a bone here

"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" Bruce Springsteen

In one word, who is cooler than Santa?....Bruuuuuuuuuuuce!

"Do They Know It's Christmas" Band-Aid

An all-star cast raised a ton of money for famine in Africa

"My Only Wish (This Year)" Brittney Spears

Merry Christmas, it's Brittney, bit@!

"Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" N'Sync

This was the only single from *NSYNC's Christmas album, "Home for Christmas"

"Wonderful Christmastime" Paul McCartney

Not bad for a song that took him about 10 minutes to write. And the video is super cheesy!

"Christmas, Baby Please Come Home" U2

Back from the "Rattle and Hum" era of U2

"Step Into Christmas" Elton John

I had the pleasure of seeing Sir Elton when he came to Bangor in November of 2017, sadly he didn't play this holiday classic

"What Christmas Means To Me" Stevie Wonder

This tune has been included in many Christmas movies over the years, and it should be!
