You can thank the power of social media, and some humble and down-to-earth brothers for bringing you the feel-good story of the day!

Getting to see your favorite band in concert is often one of those "most awesome" moments in a teenagers life. And there's no doubt, Lily Jordan was psyched when she made plans to go see the Jonas Brothers in concert this past week in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, those plans got derailed when the young woman was told she'd have to spend that evening getting an intensive dose of chemotherapy instead.

Trying to keep a positive attitude, Jordan took to social media and, according to an article put out by People.com, she sent the brothers a message via Instagram.

“@jonasbrothers I was supposed to be at your Hersey concert tomorrow but instead I’m across the street doing chemo. If y’all wanted to pop in I’ll give you my room.”

It didn't take long for that message to spread, thanks to friends and family. Even her state Congressman, Scott Perry, sent out a social media message on her behalf. When Nick, Joe and Kevin finally got wind of the messages, they added a stop to Lily's room to the itinerary for the day.

They popped in, pre-concert, to cheer Jordan up and ask which song she'd like them to dedicate to her. Then she passed along a gift she'd made for Joe's wife, Sophie Turner, who Lily is also a big fan of, hence the Stark Banner from Game of Thrones (Turner plays Sansa Stark in the show) displayed proudly behind her hospital bed. Speaking of wives, Nick's wife was also in attendance and offered her well-wishes.

So there you have it. She cast a line out to the universe, trying to make a horrible situation a little happier, and in this case, the universe, or at least the internet, came through for her. Kudos to the Jonas Brothers for being so willing to take her up on her offer for a visit, and for stepping up to  Lily's day a little brighter.
