A judge has ordered a security guard and his lawyer to pay Lil Wayne $29,225, plus the rapper’s legal fees, after dismissing their lawsuit accusing him of striking the man while holding a gun.
The court ruled in April that plaintiff Christian Carlos and his attorney repeatedly disobeyed court orders, leading the judge to terminate the case and cancel a trial that had been scheduled for August.

Ruling the lawsuit was dismissed because Christian Carlos willfully failed to comply with discovery orders for nearly 10 months and misrepresented his compliance to the court.
Carlos had accused Wayne, whose legal name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., of threatening him with a semiautomatic rifle and punching him during a 2023 incident at the rapper’s California home, allegations Carter has denied.

Anonymous law enforcement sources reportedly told TMZ that the dispute involved Lil Wayne accusing Carlos of taking photos and leaking them to the media.
Lil Wayne is scheduled to bring his “20 Years of Carter Classics” tour, with special guest 2 Chainz, to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on June 30th.

And there you have it! Lil Wayne has been awarded nearly $30,000 after a judge dismissed the complaint.
