Have you ever considered yourself to be a quick-witted person who just might be able to pull off a little improv?

... You've seen 'Who's Line Is It Anyway?' and think to yourself, 'You know, I think I could do that'....

... or maybe you see the genius of Robin Williams and want to obtain just a slice of that genius with your own quick-wittedness?

Well, there is no other time like now to jump on answering the 'do-I-got-it?' question for yourself.

Penobscot Theatre Company is putting on a workshop this Sunday, August 29th to get your improv on and focused! The workshop will be officiated by a professional improviser and is focusing on 'the what' of a scene to direct your quick wit with purpose and intention.

The aim of the workshop is to build on your natural improv ability with a tool to get you in the right direction and build up confidence for entertaining off-the-cuff.

The workshop is $35 and if you are interested in 'Find the Elusive What', you need to register by emailing jen@penobscottheatre.org.

Bangor's Penobscot Theatre Company announced it's next season of shows in late July and will have plenty of great shows to see for season 48, including lots of improv from Improv Acadia. The improv group will be improvising a new story every second Sunday of each show run that will be based on suggestions from the audience and the current set that is up on the Bangor Opera House stage.

Check out the season preview for Penobscot Theatre Company's upcoming season we put out not too long ago and visit the PTC website to see what's coming soon and to get tickets.
