Trick-or-Treat!

Halloween is this Saturday, and things will be a litle different this year thanks to COIVD-19, so people are cmoning up with some very creative ideas to make sure the kids have a good time, and practive safe, social distancing.

Penobscot Theatre Company and Dramatic Academy at PTC is hosting a unique event. It's a socially distanced Halloween Drive-BOO! It's a one of a kind drive-up trick or treating experience.

The Drive-BOO takes place outside the Bangor Opera House on Halloween day, which is this Saturday, October 31 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Cars are asked to pull up under the lit marquee. where they will be welcomed by costumed staff members and volunteers who will use creative resources for fully contactless trick or treating.

For a little extra fun, you can dress up your vehicle for a Car Costume Contest. The top two winners will be announced via Facebook and Instagram on November 1 and will receive some cool prizes. Every ghost and goblin gets a bag of Halloween candy, and some of them will include surpise gifts. Not too shabby!

This event is for all ages, so dress the kids and yourself up, and go see the folks at Penobscot Theatre Company, they are waiting to make your Halloween experience a memorable one for the enitre family.

The day doesn't end there, you can also check out Penobscot Theatre's performances of "The Glitch Witch", "Ghost Postcards", and "Ghost Hunting In Maine" which will livestream and play on-demand Halloween at 8pm & 10pm.
